Our friendly staff is always willing to explain every detail on the menu, filet the fish for guests less skilled in deboning, and often serve as promoters of national cuisine, in particular the Mediterranean cuisine with which they are most familiar.

Along with seafood, Proto offers organic vegetables with genuine, long forgotten flavours, grown in the gardens of Župa Dubrovačka, several rural homesteads in Konavle, and on the nearby islands.

During November, December, and February, join us for dinner from 16:00 till 23:00 (last seating is at 21:00), Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sundays ensuring every meal we prepare is filled with the freshest ingredients and passion. We will be taking a January holiday break to refresh and bring you new flavours in the New Year!
